Abstract

Neuropathies related to renal function are etiologically classified as Acquired Neuropathies due to a
systemic metabolic state. They can present as Autonomic Neuropathy associated or not with Peripheral
Neuropathy. The present work aimed to objectively evaluate the presence of cardiovascular and peripheral
autonomic neuropathy in patients with Chronic Renal Insufficiency (CRF) undergoing dialysis treatment and
who are in the kidney transplant plan.
