Abstract

Epidemic Neuropathy (EN) is a neuropathic disease that appeared for the first time in Cuba between 1992 and
1994. The presence of certain symptoms and signs led us to consider that this type of neuropathy was
associated with autonomic dysfunction. The purpose of this work is to use a battery of quantitative,
non-invasive, repeatable and reliable tests, with the aim of confirming autonomic alterations and
determining which indices and statistics are more sensitive to the study of the disease.
