Abstract

There are diseases that have as a basic physiopathogenic alteration a reduction in the safety factor of the
neuromuscular transmission mechanism. Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is the most common entity within this group, with an
immunological etiology and postsynaptic involvement. Clinically it is characterized by the appearance of muscle
fatigue with exercise and its recovery with rest.
