DETERMINACIÓN DEL CONTENIDO DE NI EN SOLUCIONES AMONIACALES POR FLOURESCENCIA DE RAYOS X CON FUENTES RADIOISOTÓPICAS

Abstract

With the purpose of determining the Ni conten in ammonia solu­tions, by means of X ray fluorescence, using radioisotopes, three radioactive sources were evaluated:

H3Zr   Pm147/A1   y    Pu238

Considering the obtained results the Pu238 source was selected. The influence of the variation in the composition of samples on the determination of the Ni content was determined. To corree! this effect, the present appear suggests the use of nomographic methods for the interpretation of the results obtained from scp,1nltt measuremenls of Ni characteristic r.cdiation flux and backscartered radiation. The results obtained from ammonia solutions samples, with Ni content intervals from O. 01 to 15 g/1, for different matrix composition variations are presented.
