Abstract

Cationic contents and preadsorbed molecules for each cation were deterrnined in different cationic torrns of natural Mordenite from Palmarito deposit. The obtained values of differential and isosteric heats of C02 showed that little amounts of preadsorbed water molecules caused low values of adsorption heats. The isosteric heats in dehydrated zeolites cominuously diminished, but probes with sorne preadsorbed water molecules showed sorne maximal values originated by the iJ1teraction of C02 molecules with H20-cation and H20-cation-C02 complex.
