IDENTIFICACIÓN DE METABOLITOS PRESENTES EN EL ICIBIOP GLU OBTENIDO POR LA FERMENTACIÓN CON GLUCONACETOBACTER DIAZOTROPHICUS

Abstract

The use of biofertilizers is a way to improve the conditions of development and growth of plants, with the use of them it is intended to partially or totally replace the application of synthetic fertilizers and reduce their polluting effect. At the UEB Bioprocesos Cuba 10, belonging to ICIDCA, Icibiop GLU is produced; a biopreparation that is obtained from the submerged culture of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus in a minimal industrial culture medium that favors its growth. Some of the metabolites present in the culture broth of this bacterium were extracted with ethyl acetate and identified by high-performance liquid chromatography, coupled to a refractive index detector and mass spectrometer. The results revealed the presence of organic acids and cytokinin, which are key compounds in metabolic and cell signaling processes. The organic acids identified are common products of microbial fermentation and give the bioproduct the possibility of solubilizing phosphates and other micronutrients. On the other hand, the detection of the phytohormone involved in plant growth suggests a potential role in promoting plant development. These results position Icibiop GLU as a biofertilizer capable of increasing agricultural productivity in a sustainable way
